Mr. Young founded Adam Young Inc. in 1944 and has been active in television station representation since that time. Since being formed by the Youngs, Young Broadcasting Inc. (NASDAQ: YBTVA) has blossomed into one of the largest and fastest growing broadcast station groups in America. Today, Young Broadcasting owns and operates eleven television stations in geographically diverse markets. Mr. Young served on the Board of Directors of the Television Advertising Bureau from 1977 to 1979 and has twice been President of the Station Representative Association, initially from 1955 through 1957, then from 1978 through 1980.
